A Watershed Network is a learning environment where technical topics are addressed in small increments to learners on the job. These small increments, called modules, are aggregated into chapters to address subjects such as Voice over IP, IPTV or Carrier Ethernet.
Clients engage Watershed Networks with a site license. A site license enables companies to offer employees unlimited access to the entire Watershed Networks course list for a period of one year. During this time users can take any and all of the courses Watershed offers. In addition once users have completed a course they are encouraged to access the content at any time to refresh their memory and review concepts.
A unique feature of he Watershed Network is that users have the ability to access over 350 technical modules to select in any combination to create their own course in real time. It takes less than a minute to "build" a course and once complete may be assigned to 5, 50 or 500 people. All Watershed Networks courses feature audio lectures, full text explanations, graphics and illustrations, animations, interactive exercises and downloadable student work books.
Pricing for the Watershed Networks site license is based on the number of users. Companies are free to partner with other companies to build up the numbers and therefore lower the price to all. Build partnerships where you can share information, observations, and resources to address issues arising from defining, engineering, deploying and supporting the next generation network. Once you have identified your network, contact Watershed Networks with the information and Watershed will manage the details. A good time to build out your team or increase your Watershed partners would be at NTCA and OPASTCO annual conventions and regional meetings.
