Watershed Networks' Customers are Talking!

"Recently I have completed two courses. I have enjoyed

studying and learning with these courses and
have found them to be well suited to fulfill my needs. I would strongly suggest to anyone wanting to learn
more in this industry to consider taking these courses.Watershed Networks has been great to work with."

- Jeff C. Murdock, Mud Lake Telephone CO-OP

Greetings!

baseball    Spring training is finally over and it's baseball season again. How do you feel about the team this year? It's funny how we look at baseball players; we act like it's their job to win every game, and we expect them to. The truth is, it's their job to play and to play well. If they lose because another team plays better or has better luck, they still get paid, they still come to work the next day. Early in the season we are already sizing up our team. Do they have a chance? Are there a couple of pieces missing that could make this a great team? Or is this the dreaded rebuilding year? Baseball needs this year's winners as well as those teams working on the future. There are no losers. It's not like that in business; It's our job to win. Telecom is a competitive game these days, and the losers don't come back to play next season. It's time for your spring training. Let's play ball!

This season, Watershed Networks steps to the plate with five new rookies on our team. We've introduced our first course for non-technical personnel, Telecom Basics. This course, designed for Salespeople, Customers Service Reps, Administrators and Executive Staff, covers the same ground as our longer Telecom Fundamentals course but without going as deep into the technical content and in language designed to read easily and quickly.
For the engineers, our four new courses on Passive Optical Networks will catch you up with the latest technology in the field. Take Passive Optical Networks (PON) to understand the full range of PON systems or EPON, GPON or BPON to focus on the specific system you need to understand.

Every experience you have with a customer is like a fly ball. Someone on the field is going to have a play. Do they catch it, or do they drop the ball?  That's why everyone on the team needs to know how to hit, catch, and run...you know the basics. And everyone on your team, from your first tier Customer Support to Sales to your top engineers, needs to understand the concepts that make your product work. We're here to help you show up with your "A" game, every day.

Sincerely,

Walt Mansell
