 Game on in Phoenix!
Everything is happening in Phoenix! The days were nice, the nights were cool but the subject was hot. There's that football game coming up, but the real excitement was at NTCA and OPASTCO. That's where the the real game is happening. The stakes are high. We're trying to win the future of an industry, not just the Lombardi trophy.
Who's the other team? You know who they are. They've broken through the telecom industry's defensive line. They run fast, they hit hard and as the internet solidifies its place in the modern business world, they are beginning to take away the home field advantage.
Now your the underdog. The Jets did it in '69. The Pats in '02. What's your game plan? What adjustments do you need to make? Keep faith in your team. Your team has taken you this far. Your team knows the legacy network, and you know your customers. Your can learn the new technologies, and Watershed can help you do it.  Walt Mansell (CEO)
has thirty years experience in operations, training and standards
development for the telecommunications industry. His experience
includes over twenty years in the Switching Operations organization in
NYNEX. Walt also held positions at Bellcore (now Telcordia
Technologies) in Morristown, NJ and Lisle, IL. He served as Operations
Manager for MIT's telecommunications network, Project Manager and
Interoperability Lab Manager at Shiva, Senior Product Manager in the
Telecommunications Products group at Compaq and, most recently, VP of
the Telecommunications Practice at Belenos.
He has held technical leadership roles in forums and standards
organizations including: Past President of Vendor's ISDN Association,
ENDIF Chairman in the National ISDN Users Forum, founding member of the
Universal ADSL Working Group and various committees in the ITU, ATM
Forum and ADSL
Forum.
